Service disruption to LW1 web server

Posted on Apr 25, 2014 by Ashworth Consulting

In an ongoing effort to make you aware of security and performance concerns, we wanted to inform you of an ongoing event.

Server affected: LW1

We are reaching out (while simultaneously taking action) to inform you that our monitoring team has discovered an issue that requires emergency maintenance on the server where your website is hosted. This necessary engineering is already underway and is being performed by our most skilled and highly trained technicians.

While we intend for any interruption in service should be minimized, we must ensure that your service meets our premium standard for security, speed and efficiency. Of equal importance to these factors is our desire to maintain excellent communication and full transparency with our customers.

We’re always looking out for our customers, and appreciate your business. If you have any special needs or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our support team!

UPDATE 4/25/2014 @ 12:05 AM:

It has come to our attention that a hardware failure has occurred on this server. Replacement drives have already been installed by our engineering team at the data center, and we are simply waiting for data to copy to the new drives.

All customer data is safe, and there is not an official ETA for completion. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to speed up the restoration for data, nor was there any way for us to avoid a mechanical failure in the first place. Rest assured, though. We’re doing everything in our power and working as quickly as humanly possible to resolve the issue and restore services to your website.
